Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite experience?
I went to Amsterdam and Frankfurt with Professor Eddie Watts. This course focused on sustainable finance, i.e. investment decisions that take environmental, social, and governance factors into consideration. Throughout the trip, we met with professionals in the industry, including asset managers, securities issuers, banks, regulators, and entrepreneurs. I loved exploring all that both countries had to offer, but my favorite leg of the trip was Amsterdam -- it's such a beautiful, happy city with an inspirational, long-term focus on business and social progress. The most valuable part of the trip, however, was getting to know my classmates better. Over the course of ten days, we got to know each other on a deeper level and formed lasting connections that will carry into our personal and professional lives. The opportunity to learn and grow alongside such a talented and diverse group of peers is truly what makes Yale SOM such a special place.
