Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite experience?
For my international experience, I traveled to Uruguay with Professor Lorenzo Caliendo and about 30 SOM students. It was an incredible opportunity to experience a new culture and understand how Uruguay's unique geography and population can support business and innovation. We visited a number of different companies across a range of sectors, including those in the technology, government, and education spaces. We even had the opportunity to meet local MBA students. This course truly opened my mind to a part of the world that I had never explored and encouraged me to re-think how the public and private sectors can work in tandem to support businesses. It was also an incredible opportunity to get to know fellow students (across both years), and to engage with a Professor outside of the classroom.
