Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite experience?
I participated in GSE (Global Social Entrepreneurship) in which I worked closely with a healthcare startup in Kenya that is looking to improve healthcare access to lower income Kenyans. As part of the project, I had an incredible opportunity to spend 10 days in Kenya interviewing patients and clinics, learning about the Kenyan healthcare system, and even going on a three-day Safari coordinated by other SOM students! This unique experience has easily been the highlight of my SOM journey thus far and I would highly recommend learning more about GSE to any perspective students!
