What is your favorite class at Yale SOM?
I had a great time in Operations Engine, one of the first year core courses. I had never taken any classes that were even remotely operations-related, but I was excited to mesh some of what I had learned informally in my previous career working on business processes with models and analytical tools that were taught in the course. Our professor, Prof. Lesley Meng, is also fantastic and I'm seriously considering taking more of her electives even though I don't plan on making operations my career focus. Whether it was the online factory simulation or calculating how often to restock toilet paper, I felt like I came out of Ops Engine with a new (and useful) perspective in my toolkit.
