Students Look Back at Globalization Hackathon

Yale SOM students who participated in Senior Associate Dean David Bach’s groundbreaking online course “The End of Globalization?” will discuss the hackathon that capped the course in a Facebook Live event on Tuesday, May 9, at 4:15 p.m. EDT.

The Global Network Course brought together students from 21 schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management to discuss the wave of nationalism and populism that swept the world in 2016, and its implications for global business.

The course culminated in a series of daylong hackathons in which teams of students assembled presentations examining the state of globalization in their regions and making proposals for businesses can respond.
