Professor Lee’s research uses statistical learning techniques to improve the operations of complex systems like those in healthcare. He has extensive experience in developing data-driven tools for problems ranging from healthcare financial planning to early warning systems for patient mortality. His work has appeared in leading journals in management as well as in the statistical sciences, and he holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. At Yale he developed and taught numerous courses on business analytics and data science for the MBA curriculum.
