Yale SOM’s integrated curriculum, emphasizing a team-taught, integrated approach to problem solving, helps students understand the whole of the enterprise rather than individual functions and provides potential entrepreneurs with a deep understanding of how to develop and sustain a venture. Yale SOM’s “raw case” format complements this approach by challenging students to evaluate problems on multiple dimensions. The integrated core includes courses on The Innovator and Sourcing and Managing Funds, which tie directly to entrepreneurship. In addition to the integrated curriculum, several electives are offered each semester in the Entrepreneurship and Private Equity category.
