Conflict of Interest Policy

Faculty and staff affiliated with the Yale Program on Financial Stability are subject to the conflict of interest rules of Yale University, which are enforced by the Provost and can be viewed here.

In addition, we make the following supplementary commitments:

  • The YPFS will not accept any paid assignments to do specific funder-requested projects.
  • The YPFS will not accept any donations from any  financial institution designated as “systemically important” (or equivalent term) by any regulatory authority, in the United States or elsewhere. This prohibition extends to any institution currently nominated as a candidate for such designation, and to the officers of designated or candidate institutions.
  • The YPFS commits to making all of its writing, research results, and data publicly available.
