Hike with SOM Alums | Los Angeles

Join fellow Yale SOM alumni for a scenic and energizing hike through one of LA’s best urban trails — the Culver City Stairs + Kenneth Hahn loop.

We’ll begin at the base of the Culver City Stairs, climb up to Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, and continue through a ~4.6-mile loop that winds through Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. Expect some elevation, great views, and even better conversations. Restrooms and water refill stations are available along the route.

Whether you’re looking to get outside, reconnect with old friends, or meet new alums in the area—this is a great way to close out the weekend on a high note. Friends and partners are welcome to join!

Parking Tips:

There’s plenty of parking along Jefferson.

Spots east of Hetzler are generally free.

Spots west of Hetzler are metered — pay close attention to signage.
