Copy Exclusive Preview of Peabody Museum + Mory's Meetup

In response to the overwhelming enthusiasm and popularity of our first Yale SOM Alumni Peabody Museum Preview Tour, we are thrilled to invite you to a second opportunity for a sneak preview of the newly renovated Peabody Museum of Natural History. Taking place on Thursday, February 15th, this Yale SOM alumni exclusive tour will allow our group inside access to the amazing multi-year renovation of Peabody Museum led by the Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, Chris Norris. The Peabody has been thoughtfully and meticulously reimagined to join the 21st century and our group will be fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the renovated space before the doors officially open to the public. Our tour is limited to twenty-five registrants, including a maximum of one guest per alum attendee. 

Following the tour, the group will head to Mory’s at 5:15pm for an informal gathering open to all. If you’re unable to join us for the tour we’d be delighted for you to connect with our group afterward at Mory’s.

When: Thursday, February 15, 2023 | 2:45pm – 5:00pm (Peabody tour, starts promptly at 3:00pm), 5:15pm (Mory’s Meetup)
Where: Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511 (North Entrance, see map below)
Cost: Free for all registrants, including alumni and their guests

Parking: Public parking is usually available on Sachem and Hillhouse. Designated paid visitor parking may be available in Yale lot 22 (see map below). 
Meeting Point: Guests should plan to meet at the North Entrance to the museum no later than 3:00pm. The exact location is marked with a orange star on the map below. 

Note for attendees: Participants need to arrive promptly between 2:45pm and 3:00pm. Our tour starts at 3:00pm and latecomers will not be able to join after that. This tour is intended for ages 15+.
