[SOLD OUT] Exclusive Peabody Museum Preview & Mory's Meetup

Yale SOM alumni and guests are invited to join the Connecticut alumni chapter for a special pre-opening tour of the Peabody Museum on Thursday, January 18th. This Yale SOM alumni exclusive tour will allow our group inside access to the amazing multi-year renovation of Peabody Museum led by the Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, Chris Norris.  Always an iconic destination in New Haven, the Peabody has been thoughtfully and meticulously reimagined to join the 21st century and our group will be fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the renovated space before the doors officially open to the public. Our tour group is limited to twenty-five registrants, including a maximum of one guest per alum attendee. 

Following the tour, the group will head to Mory’s at 5:15pm for an informal gathering open to all. If you’re unable to join us for the tour we’d be thrilled for you to connect with our group at Mory’s for an opportunity to connect with fellow Yale SOM alumni in the new year.  

Note for attendees: Participants need to arrive promptly between 2:45pm and 3:00pm. Our tour starts at 3:00pm and latecomers will not be able to join after that.

When: Thursday, January 18, 2023 | 2:45pm – 5:00pm (Peabody tour, starts promptly at 3:00pm), 5:15pm (Mory’s Meetup)
Where: Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511 (North Entrance, see below for a map)
Cost: Free for all registrants, including alumni and their guests

Parking: Public parking is usually available on Sachem and Hillhouse. Designated paid visitor parking may be available in two Yale lots (lots 26V and lot 16V). 
Meeting Point: Guests should plan to meet at the North Entrance to the museum no later than 3:00pm. The exact location is marked with a green arrow on the map below.
