Yale Harvard Tailgate 2023 | Hosted by Yale School of Management Student Life Committee

Yale School of Management Alumni and up to one guest are invited to join current Yale SOM students at a pre-game tailgate hosted by Yale SOM’s student life committee at this year’s Yale Harvard game on Saturday, November 18th. While “The Game” itself begins at noon, Yale SOM alumni are invited to start pre-game festivities alongside current students and fellow alumni at the student-hosted tailgate starting at 9:00 a.m. Located near the field, attendees will receive four (4) drink tickets redeemable for beer, wine, hard seltzer, non-alcoholic beverages, or a mocktail. This celebratory and convivial pre-game event will feature lawn games, a DJ, and Bears BBQ catering. Current Yale SOM students, alumni, partners, and guests are all invited to join this special event fostering community and connection. 

Registrants will receive a “ticket wristband” for entry/exit at the tailgate for each ticket purchased. Advanced registration is required as ticket wristbands will not be available for purchase onsite. Lost or misplaced wristbands will not be replaced and without a ticket wristband, there will be no entry, no exceptions. Yale SOM alumni who register for this event will receive their wristbands in the mail (at the mailing address provided at registration) from the Yale SOM Alumni Relations Office in advance of the event. 

Registration for this event does not include tickets to the Yale Harvard game itself or parking onsite. Additional information about where attendees can purchase tickets for the game and onsite parking is included below. Space for this event is limited and registration closes on Wednesday, November 8th. We hope you’ll join this Yale SOM student life committee event for the entire Yale SOM community.

Cost: $80 Alumni, $80 Guests (limit 3 tickets per alumnus)  
Refund policy: Refunds will not be offered for the Yale Harvard 2023 Tailgate. No exceptions. Tickets are limited, so please only purchase if you are able to attend the tailgate.

How to purchase SOM-Reserved Tickets for the Football Game

Side Reserved Seats are available for the SOM community to purchase. 

• These tickets are for attendees who wish to purchase reserved seats ($50 each) for The Game and sit together in a section specifically reserved for the Yale SOM Community. 
• The seats are in Portal 18, Aisle C.
• This link is for you and your guests if you want to be assigned a seat that's not general admission and is with the Yale SOM community including fellow alumni and current students. 

Ticket Purchasing Instructions

• Select the quantity for the ‘Yale School of Management’ price type
• Keep the ‘price zone’ as best available
• The system will know to pull from this ticket block based on quantity and “price zone.”

 Parking Information 

• If you plan to drive to the Yale Bowl, we encourage you to purchase a parking pass. 
• Per Yale Athletics, as of October 11th, 50% of passes have already been purchased. Availability of passes is not guaranteed.

All attendees must adhere to SOM and Yale Athletics policies including but not limited to:

• All attendees must be 21+ to attend.
• Per the Yale Athletics policy, food and drink service will end at 12 noon when kick-off occurs.
• No outside food or alcohol is allowed into the tailgate.
