[Sold Out] Yale SOM Washington, DC Fall Welcome Event

In 2022, Yale SOM alumnae Michele Kang ’89 became the first woman of color to own a National Women’s Soccer League team: the 2021 League champions, the Washington Spirit. Michele has graciously offered to host this year’s official Fall Welcome event, opening up exclusive seating to the Class of 2023 and fellow Yale SOM Alumni as the Washington Spirit take on the Kansas City Current. This is a tremendously unique and rare opportunity to be in the thick of the action at a National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) match while also enjoying the diverse, thoughtful, and engaged group of SOM'ers in DC.

Whether you’re a member of the Class of 2023 or a long-time member of the Yale SOM alumni community, we can't wait to see you. Come join Michele and fellow Yale SOM Alumni at this special event and partake in making meaningful connections among the local alumni community. Additionally, the Washington Spirit is joining forces with Leveling the Playing Field (LPF) to collect sports bras for underserved women and girls in the DC area this summer, in conjunction with team partner CVS Health.
