Yale SOM Chicago Summer Social - Architecture Boat Tour

Join members of the Yale School of Management alumni community in Chicago for a relaxing summer evening of conversations and incredible city views on Thursday, July 20 on an architecture boat tour. During the 90-minute boat tour, your tour guide will provide commentary on the different architectural styles seen throughout the city, and take you on a journey all the way to the locks on the main branch, Chinatown on the south branch, and Goose Island on the north branch. Beer & wine will be provided on board, and food will be available for purchase.

Summer socials are an enduring tradition for the Yale SOM alumni community across the globe. Each summer these events bring together hundreds of SOM’ers and represent the perfect opportunity to connect, or reconnect, with fellow alums in your area. Yale SOM alumni, current students in the area for summer internships, and guests are invited to join this annual summer event.

Notably, members of the Class of 2023 who are in Chicago are encouraged to join as well! There will be an official welcome event in the fall, but this Summer Social is an excellent opportunity for members of the Class of 2023 to start making connections with the Chicago alumni chapter! Registration required.

Please Note: The boat tour is rain or shine. Boarding/check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. and the boat departs promptly at 5:00 p.m. We encourage attendees to wear Yale or Yale SOM gear to the event!
