Join us for an engaging conversation with one of Yale SOM’s distinguished alumni, Alejandro Díaz de León ’95. Alejandro Díaz de León has spent the past two decades at Banco de México, holding positions which include - the head of the Debt Management Office at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance, the head of the government’s internal and external financing and the oil hedging strategy, and the general director of Mexico’s Export-Import Bank (BANCOMEXT). In 2017 he was appointment by Mexico’s President to serve as governor of Banco de México. Governor Díaz de León will speak with Andrew Metrick, Janet L. Yellen Professor of Finance and Management, about the financial stability of Mexico, and the financial stability of the world more broadly, since the outbreak of COVID-19.
