Please join us on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:00pm for a Q&A session with Steve Kasoff YC ‘93.  Steve Kasoff recently retired from Elliott Management Corp. after a 27-year career in finance. He was a Partner, member of the Management Committee, and global head of investments in real estate, structured products, commercial and residential mortgage backed securities, and CLOs.  Mr. Kasoff is also an ICF Advisory Board Member.

Steve Kasoff will speak to Yale SOM students about his career and industry.  He will end the talk with a lengthy Q&A session with the audience.

    Former Partner, Elliott Management Corp.

    Steve Kasoff recently retired after a 27-year career in finance. From 2003 through 2020, he was at Elliott Management Corp., one of the world’s largest hedge funds, with over $40 billion of capital under management. Steve was a Partner, member of the Management Committee, and global head of investments in real estate, structured products, commercial and residential mortgage backed securities, and CLOs. He was also involved in the oversight of interest rate and currency trading. Prior to joining Elliott, Steve was a Director in the CDO group at Deutsche Bank (1999-2003), and earlier was a member of the credit derivatives group at Merrill Lynch (1997-99) and the mortgage group at Lehman Brothers (1993-95). Steve received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University (1993), and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1997).
