CANCELLED Yale CEO Caucus: Primary Colors: The Primary Season’s Secondary Impact on Business.

Tuesday, Mar 17 2020 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute
Washington, DC 20001
United States

Please cancel your plans to join us March 17, 2020 in DC.

Supposedly, John Maynard Keynes said “When the facts change sir, I change my mind. What do you do?”  However, the only documented source is Paul Samuelson who attributed this statement to Keynes in a 1970 TV interview and then in later publications, without any specific citation source.

Regardless, we agree with the spirit and in the interest of the health of all involved and the model set by the opinion leaders hoping to join us, we sadly must cancel.  The situation is serious without signs of improvement in the US, as you all know.

We did cancel a CEO Summit during Operation Desert Storm but sadly the then CEO of Alaska Airlines did not get the message from his office somehow and still arrived at the Atlanta Ritz Carlton already for the show, and not to pleased.  Thus in addition to this cancellation blast, we will write to each of you independently as a follow-up.

Thanks so much your interest, your enthusiasm, and your trust.

Best wishes for you, your families, and your colleagues in good health,

Jeff
