Yale Responsible Investing Conference

On Friday, November 13, the Responsible Investing Conference and Low¬Carbon Portfolio Case Competition will take place at the Yale School of Management. Last year's competition brought together teams from top MBA programs around the world, renowned faculty, and top experts in the field to tackle the technical and ethical aspects of fossil fuel divestment from university endowments. This year, we are expanding the event into a full conference exploring the future of responsible investing. The conference will include panels on ESG Integration and the Use of Metrics; Innovations in Driving Capital to Solve Social Challenges; and Global Trends in Clean Energy Investment. Speakers and judges include: John Streur, President and CEO of Calvert Investment; Catherine Keating, CEO of CommonFund; Bob Litterman, former Chief Risk Officer of Goldman Sachs; Ira Ehrenpreis, Managing Partner of DBL Investors, and more. The concurrent case competition will ask students to design a flexible ESG fund for university endowment clients of an outsourced CIO. We welcome SOM Alumni and professionals to join us for the conference.
