Entrepreneurship Across Yale: Two Days of Pitches, Prizes, and World-Changing Ideas

April 18, 2015, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EDT

Tuna Tank is a fun and celebratory take on Shark Tank. Come practice your pitch with Kyle Jensen, entrepreneur and Yale's Shanna and Eric Bass Director of Entrepreneurial Programs at the School of Management. Kyle will teach a short interactive class on start-up pitches and improv, drawing from various videos and other media. Afterward, we will have a pitch "contest" wherein the audience will vote using a mobile app.

Interested in participating? Prepare a five-minute pitch with or without a deck. The contest is open to everyone at Yale—applicants not accepted as finalists to Sabin, Thorne and the Yale Venture Challenge are strongly encouraged to participate. The winning team, by audience vote, will receive $1,000 provided by the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale and InnovateHealth Yale and will be treated to a dinner out with Kyle and local investors, including Elon Boms, founder of Launch Capital. Breakfast will be provided for all attendees.
