An Evening with Yale's Nobel Prize Winning Economist, Professor Robert Shiller, in Washington, D.C.

Monday, Apr 20 2015 at 10:00 pm - Tuesday, Apr 21 2015 at 12:00 am EDT

You are invited to join Nobel Prize-winner and Yale Sterling Professor of Economics Robert Shiller for a discussion on "Irrational Exuberance." The revised, updated, and expanded third edition of his New York Times bestseller cautions that signs of irrational exuberance among investors have only increased since the 2008-09 financial crisis. With high stock and bond prices in the United States, and rising housing prices in many countries, the post-subprime boom may well turn out to be another illustration of Shiller's influential argument that psychologically driven volatility is an inherent characteristic of all asset markets. Copies of Professor Shiller's book will be available to purchase with your registration at a discounted rate. All books will be signed by Professor Shiller at the event. The evening will begin with a networking reception with appetizers and beverages.
