Monthly NYC Lunch Tables at the Yale Club and Blue Planet Grill (October 2014)

Join NYC based SOM alumni for a monthly lunch table at the Grill Room of the Yale Club (midtown) or Blue Planet Grill (downtown). Come anytime between 12:15-1:45pm to mingle with old classmates and meet new friends. Set your calendar, lunches are the third Thursday of every month. Things to Know If Dining at the Yale Club: -There is no cover and no minimum, and the dress code is business casual or better. -You do not need to be a member of the Yale Club to attend, and you are able to pay with a check directly at the Grill Room. -Guest Passes are only necessary to be set up at the Front Desk to pay with a credit card (and not a check). Please note, the club is not able to accept cash payments. When: October 16, 12:15-1:45pm Midtown Location Hosted by Steven Snyder '78 and featuring Xiaoyan Zhang '10: Yale Club of NYC, 50 Vanderbilt Ave, New York, NY Xiaoyan started her post-SOM career in equity research through the help of a fellow alumnus. Her time has been primarily divided among financial modeling, developing and drafting investment thesis, and speaking to fund investors regarding stock recommendations. Not only has she developed the analytical abilities to quickly assess the performance of firms, but she also established key relationships with institutional investors. Her experience since graduating from SOM has opened a wide range of career possibilities including sell side research, industry strategy, buy-side investing, and investor relations.
