West Campus Tour and Talk with New Haven Economic Development President, New Haven, CT

Please join us for a gathering at Yale's new West Campus, follwed by a talk by Anne Haynes, President of the New Haven Economic Development Corporation and State Rep. Jonathan Steinberg (Westport), a member of the Legislature's Energy and Technology, & Transportation Committee and an after event social at Mory's in downtown New Haven! These facilities include the Yale Center for High Throughput Cell Biology, the Small Molecule Discovery Center, the Yale Center for Genome Analysis, and the High-Performance Computing Center. But it's not all just focused on technology; the West campus will also house the Yale Center for Conservation and Preservation, which will pioneer new techniques in art conservation. The tour started at 4pm with a bus tour guided by Danica Kelly, the Communications and Administrative Services Director at the West Campus. After the tour, at 5:00pm, Anne Haynes, President of the New Haven Economic Development Corporation, offered some remarks on the work her organization is undertaking and how Yale is supporting the effort. State Rep. Jonathan Steinberg (Westport), a member of the Legislature's Energy and Technology, & Transportation Committee, also commented on the State's economic development efforts. After the tour, the group headed to the social afterwards at Temple Bar, Mory's, 306 York Street, New Haven.
