Yale Day Of Service, SOMAA Sponsored Event, Loaves And Fishes, New Haven, CT

The Yale SOM Alumni Association is sponsoring a Yale Day of Service site at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Loaves and Fishes on Saturday, May 14th. Loaves and Fishes, a national organization, provides groceries and clothing to every person in need who comes through their doors. Volunteers are needed the morning of to help setup, welcome, and give out bags of food and clothing to persons in need, and to clean up. Please bring a can of soup or some other non-perishable item to donate to the food pantry. Children 10 and older are also encouraged to attend with a parent. SOMAA will provide a light breakfast for all volunteers. Enter at the back of the church on the Chapel St. side into the basement kitchen. Older kids welcome and Spanish speakers would be a special help. Breakfast is provided!
