Founded by Ariana Day Yuen ‘19, Forested Foods works to combat deforestation, conserve biodiversity, and increase incomes for forest farmers invested in regenerative agroforestry. Their first brand is Maryiza Honey, a line of single-origin honeys sourced directly from an indigensou tree flora from the Afromontane region of Southwest Ethiopia. SOM alumni Max Dworin ‘20 and Noah Gray ‘20 teamed up to found Onda, a spirits brand for a new generation of drinkers. Their first product is a line of canned sparkling tequila beverages, made with blanco tequila and real, legit fruit.
