Professor Christopher Clayton Earns 2020 AQR Top Finance Graduate Award

Six of the top 2020 finance PhD graduates from around the world have been awarded the eighth annual AQR Top Finance Graduate Award. Each year, a selection committee awards this honor to exceptional PhD graduates whose research is considered to make a potential impact in both practice and academia.

The Yale ICF would like to congratulate Professor Christopher Clayton for receiving this year’s 2020 AQR Top Finance Graduate Award for his meaningful research.

Professor Clayton recently received his PhD in Economics from Harvard University and joins the Yale SOM finance group this year as an Assistant Professor of Finance. Clayton’s research interests include banking, financial regulation, and monetary policy. His current work includes studying the design of financial regulation in domestic and international contexts.

The Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC) and the Department of Finance at Copenhagen Business School will host the AQR Top Finance Graduate Award at CBS on September 21, 2020. Each of the winners of this award will present their research virtually.
