Private Equity 101

Steven Silver, Senior Managing Director, Centerbridge Partners and ICF Advisory Board member, spoke to a packed classroom of SOM students in the MGT 847 Private Equity: Leveraged Buyouts course.  Steve spent the entire class answering student questions about everything private equity.  Steve spoke broadly about the private equity industry, management, LBO’s, what makes a good or bad deal, what makes Centerbridge so unique, ESG, the importance of doing your due diligence and using your network in order to make informed decisions, and the need for diversity in the industry to increase knowledge and gain different points of view.
