Photos: Team of Five SOM Students Advances to MIINT Competition

Five Yale SOM student teams recently vied against each other to advance to the final MBA Impact Investing & Training (MIINT) competition, held at Wharton in April.

The internal competition was judged by Kevin Chu, F-Prime Capital Partners; Sara Eshelman, Omidyar Network; Ony Obiocha, Dwight Hall and Tsai CITY; and Yale SOM Professor Kate Cooney. The team that pitched for StormSense, a flood forecasting company, won the competition. Sophie Tyack ’19, Megan Cain ’19, Carlos Mancera ’19, Katie Sierks ’19, and Marina de Melo sa Roriz ’19 will represent Yale SOM in the final competition at Wharton.
