Donato Clay ’21 shares reflections from his first days as a member of Yale School of Management's MBA for Executives Class of 2021, and the Yale community. View this post on Instagram Today was the first day of my MBA program at the Yale School of Management, and I was full of all of the emotions ranging from anxiety to excitement. This 22 month program will undoubtedly make the 74 people in my cohort stronger leaders, but it will also allow us to learn from experts in various industries, as well as from one another. I'm especially looking forward to strengthening my quant skills with the help of the 2 Econometric PhDs in the cohort! P. S. We were encouraged to take our first selfies this morning with Handsome Dan in the background by one of our Deans. #yaleemba #yalesom #mba #firstdayofschool #neverstoplearning #healthcare #assetmanagement #sustainability A post shared by Donato (@donatotravels) on Jul 12, 2019 at 1:51pm PDT View this post on Instagram I was assigned my learning team today and I have to say that we are unequivocally the best learning team in the history of the program. I have no empirical evidence to support this claim yet, but I'm sure we'll eventually be able to prove it. Despite the 100 degree temperature, it was a really fulfilling experience. #donatotravels #yaleemba #yalesom #neverstoplearning #touringlibraries #sterlinglibrary #rewardforhardwork A post shared by Donato (@donatotravels) on Jul 21, 2019 at 8:17pm PDT View this post on Instagram We finally got our pictures from the first day and I have to admit, we're a good looking group! Also, big thanks to Mohammed Zameer, the tailor in Kabul who made this suit for me during my deployment.
