A Message from the Director of Admissions: Application for the Class of 2021 is Now Available

The Yale SOM MBA for Executives Office of Admissions is pleased to announce that the application for the Class of 2021 is now open. The Round 1 application deadline is November 13 .

While much of the application is similar to last year’s in scope and structure, you’ll find that we’ve taken every opportunity to simplify and streamline it to make it even more efficient for our busy executive audience. One change I hope you’ll find helpful is that we’ve condensed our essay prompts into one, providing a more logical way for you to talk about your MBA motivation, area of focus choice, and career goals. We hope this will help you to connect these important dots and create a narrative that allows you to more effectively tell your individual story to the admissions committee.

We invite you to visit us over the next few months for one of our Saturday information sessions, which offer a great opportunity to hear more about the admissions process, meet our current students over lunch, and sit in on a class. You can also take the opportunity to stroll around the Yale campus in all its autumn glory.

Later this month, I’ll be hosting an online Application Tips webinar with Associate Director of Admissions Maria Stutsman y Marquez, during which we’ll share some advice about how to navigate the application process and answer any questions you have about the application, our admissions process, or the MBA for Executives experience. You can RSVP for all upcoming events on our website.

If you haven’t already completed a pre-assessment résumé request, you may wish to do so as you consider an application to the MBA for Executives. It’s a great way to receive personalized feedback and help determine if the program is right for you.
