A Landmark Class

On July 24, the Yale EMBA team welcomed the Class of 2017. This is a landmark class in several ways: with 63 students, it represents a record enrollment for the program, 40% of its students were born outside of the U.S., and—my personal favorite statistic—41% are women.

The average age of students in the class is 37, and students have an average 13 years of work experience. The class is also more evenly balanced across focus areas than last year’s class, with 40% of the class choosing healthcare as their area of focus, while approximately 30% selected asset management and 30% chose sustainability. Browse a summary of class statistics and read a profile of the class.

Now the admissions team begins work on assembling the Class of 2018! The application is live, and the admissions team has embarked on a busy schedule of events at Evans Hall, virtually, and throughout North America. (Read a list of upcoming admissions events.) We hope to see you soon.
