From the Assistant Dean for Admissions: A Handy Timeline for Hitting the Round 2 Deadline

Bruce DelMonico outlines what candidates should be doing each week between now and January 7, 2020, to complete their best possible application.

We’re about a month away from our Round 2 application deadline on January 7, 2020—our largest round in terms of the number of applications we receive. As we close in on the home stretch, I thought it would be helpful to provide a timeline geared toward meeting that deadline.

Whether or not you’ve officially started an application, you should be able to jump into the process at any point. Of course, you can submit your application whenever it’s ready, but know that we don’t begin reviewing applications until the deadline date, so there’s no benefit to rushing to submit far in advance of that.

In addition to the following advice, I encourage you to consult our Application Guide as you complete each component of the application to get useful tips directly from Admissions Committee members.

We wish you all the best as you prepare your application! My parting advice, as always, is to be yourself throughout the application process. We look forward to receiving your application and meeting you in person.
