Announcing the Yale ICF's Fall YBlockchain? Webinar Series

YBlockchain?Join us for the Yale ICF’s new YBlockchain? crypto and blockchain online discussion series! The Yale ICF partnered with Yale SOM alumna, Diana Barrero Zalles ’17, to create a series of discussions about blockchain presented through a variety of panels and keynote addresses by leading practitioners and academics in the field.

This is a continuation of the previous YBlockchain? events where we started an honest inquiry into this new technology: going beyond the hype to explore where it makes sense and how it can transform industries. Organized and moderated by Diana Barrero Zalles ‘17, we will discuss the most relevant topics in this fast-changing and exciting space, focusing on a specific theme each semester.

This fall we will cover the risks and opportunities of digital assets, ranging from financing of illicit activities to consumer and investor protections.  We will explore how to leverage the very characteristics of the blockchain to track illicit fund flows, cybersecurity measures and other advances toward improving consumer protections, and potential solutions to systemic risk through a peer to peer market infrastructure.

This webinar series is sponsored by the Yale School of Management International Center for Finance.
