Admissions Corner: Where in the World is Yale SOM Admissions?

One of the most exciting parts of my job is calling all of our admitted students to tell them they’ve been admitted to the Yale School of Management – and yes, we do call every admitted student to tell them personally! Last week we had the great fun of calling all our Round 3 admitted students (while munching on chocolate cupcakes prepared from scratch by Bruce DelMonico’s 11-year old daughter), which means that this week—it’s time to start recruiting the next class: the Class of 2017!

The admissions team is heading out on the road starting in July, and we will be traveling the globe to share our stories about Yale SOM with you!  Stay tuned on our website beginning in June, when we will announce all of our travel plans for the coming year.  We welcome you to join admissions representatives, alumni, faculty, staff, Dean Snyder, and current students at our events to learn more about our distinctive integrated curriculum, deep connections to the greater Yale University community, and partnership with a global network of top business schools.  The Yale School of Management is a leader in graduate management education, and we are seeking elevated leaders who will solve the most complex problems facing an increasingly interconnected world.

This summer and fall, join us at receptions in the following cities and more:

Accra, Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Austin, Bangalore, Beijing, Bogota, Boston, Buenos Aires, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Delhi, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh, Houston, Istanbul, Jakarta, Lagos, Lima, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Minneapolis, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Santiago, Sao Paulo, Seattle, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Toronto, and Washington DC.

We would also love to welcome you to visit us in New Haven for one of our campus visits, which is a short train ride away from both New York and Boston.

Our online application for the Class of 2017 will be available starting in July.  We look forward to seeing you around the world this year!
