A Yale Entrepreneurship Summit in Evans Hall

On April 17 and 18, some of Yale’s most promising entrepreneurs gathered at Yale SOM’s Edward P. Evans Hall to pitch their ideas. At “Entrepreneurship Across Yale,” a series of competitions that awarded more than $60,000 in prizes, students from throughout the university tried to convince an expert panel of judges that their businesses had the potential to be successful ventures. Winners included startups aiming to tap into the rapidly growing market for cricket-based food protein, provide children’s stories to underprivileged kids via text message, and visualize data from internet-connected devices.
