Yale SOM Master Class: AI Superpowers and the New Arms Race

Join Paul Bracken, professor of management and political science, to learn how innovations in defense technology are driving a new arms race among major powers - specifically the United States, China, and Russia.  Professor Bracken will explore how militaries are harnessing the much faster innovation cycles of technology companies, rather than relying on government labs and internal research centers.  The technologies included in the discussion will include AI, deep learning, cloud computing, and data analytics.

Yale SOM Master Class: Evidence-based Entrepreneurship

Join Kyle Jensen, Assistant Dean and Director of Entrepreneurship, for a glimpse into the Yale SOM classroom. This session will introduce prospective students to evidence-based entrepreneurship and the Lean Start-up method commonly used by practicing entrepreneurs to quickly test and prototype ideas. These are concepts are introduced in The Innovator course, a distinctive offering within the Yale SOM core curriculum.
