Recent Research on Mutual Fund Returns

For those that have been following the Kalman filter model's mutual fund selections they can now be found at Alpha Investment Opportunities. They update the fund picks monthly and offer better daily and quarterly tracking tools than I can on this site. I am leaving up the historical data for those that wish to see details regarding the Kalman filter model's selections over the January 2003 through December 2004 period.

Teaching

Shyam Sunder and I teach Applied Financial Analysis. The course has its own web site from which the public can download and discuss the company and industry valuation reports produced by our students.
I have written an Introductory Finance Reader to accompany the Brealey and Myers textbook Principles of Corporate Finance. McGraw Hill publishes it for use at any university (ISBN 0072453796). Faculty can also obtain overheads to accompany the notes. You can download a sample copy containing "lectures" 1 through 6 of the reader and the overheads. These are Adobe Acrobat PDF files.
