Sostena Romano '07

Sostena Romano ’07, the executive director of global health nonprofit HealthRight, says that organizations that mean to do good need more than good intentions: they must be efficient and effective. Romano has been delivering global health to underserved populations for decades. She previously served as director of global program management at the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

Romano talked to Yale Insights in 2013 about the role small NGOs play in improving global health.
