So yesterday I returned from a five-day, four-night Carnival cruise to Mexico with 75 of my classmates. It was a blast, and our end-of-the-year activities seem to be getting better and better. Something else that has been great is that I've landed a job! I'm going to be working for a local management consulting firm that mostly has contracts with cities and developers for economic development and neighborhood revitalization projects. It's a fantastic opportunity, and I'm excited to be staying around New Haven for at least a couple more years. I honestly didn't think I'd like the city as much as I do, and you can't beat the quality of living for the cost of living here. In case you haven't seen it, The Economist just ran a story about SOM's curriculum changes. It can be found here.
