Sarena Lin '98
Corporate Vice President for Strategy and Business Development, Cargill
In her role as corporate vice president for strategy and business development at Cargill, Sarena Lin ’98 has the complex task of guiding dozens of business units, ranging from beef production to financial risk management services, in 65 countries. Before joining Cargill, she spent 13 years at McKinsey and Company, consulting on business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain, and strategic sourcing.
Lin spoke to Yale Insights in 2013 about her role and how she thinks about strategy for a massive multinational corporation.
