Lecturer in the Practice of Management

Faculty Directory

Sarah Biggerstaff specializes in leadership development for individuals and organizations. Her experience includes executive coaching and consulting to organizations across multiple sectors as they cultivate and expand their leadership capacity.

Since 2012, she has been on the faculty at the Yale School of Management where her work focuses on increasing capacity to lead through the practical, hands-on application of leadership concepts. Sarah believes there is no one-size fits all approach to leadership and works with students to unlock their potential and explore their identities as leaders through the application of course learning both inside and outside of the classroom, by finding creative ways to lead – with or without formal title and position, and by learning to effectively facilitate leadership development in others.  With a combination of humor, candor, and support, Sarah helps leaders see new possibilities and take action as leverage for personal growth and organizational change.
