Yale SOM is a special place that recognizes that my background as an African American man enhances the rich social and learning environment here on campus.

Yale SOM participates in admissions events with partner organizations such as the Forté Foundation, the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), and the Riordan Programs. We also host the annual Explore Diversity Days, which provide prospective students with an opportunity to experience our diverse, supportive community first-hand. The day includes special presentations, interactions with alumni and faculty, and several opportunities for one-on-one conversations with Yale MBA students.
The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management
Yale School of Management has been a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, a national not-for-profit organization that supports diversity and inclusion in American business, since 2008. The mission of the Consortium is to enhance diversity in business education and leadership by helping to reduce the serious underrepresentation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in both member schools’ enrollment and the ranks of management.
In addition to the Consortium, Yale SOM partners with a number of organizations that provide financial support to diverse MBA candidates, including the Robert Toigo Foundation, the Forté Foundation, and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA).
