Located in the Donaldson Dean's Suite, And Much, Much More! is a contemporary artwork by Amy Pryor ART '01. The work is a gift made in memory of Alan Buder ’83 by the Blue Sky Club and the members of the Classes of 1983 and 1984.
From the Yale Center for British Art:
The school is pursuing LEED Gold certification under the LEED for Schools 2009 standard, which acknowledges sustainable design and construction, said Brendan Edgerton SOM/FES ’15, a member of the Sustainability Leadership Team. Yale SOM created this team, which includes students and staff members, to oversee the school’s ongoing sustainability efforts. As part of this effort, the Sustainability Leadership Team will be tracking the building’s water and energy usage, allowing the school to publish its greenhouse gas emissions.
It's the first week of classes in Edward P. Evans Hall, and Yale SOM students are finding their way around the building—and that includes locating a new favorite study spot. Within the new campus, there are three distinct spaces on three separate floors that allow for quiet study, collaborative research, and media-intensive collaboration or presentations.
The artwork in Edward P. Evans Hall includes three wall drawings by American artist Sol LeWitt, installed by recent graduates of the Yale School of Art. Jock Reynolds, director of the Yale University Art Gallery and John Hogan, installation director and archivist at the gallery, discuss the project.
