Class Profile: Class of 2019

The MBA for Executives Class of 2019 boasts an impressive array of leaders from a variety of industries and sectors within each area of focus. They include physicians, chief operating officers, digital directors, and entrepreneurs. 

One student in the healthcare area of focus is director of global business development for a pharmaceutical company, and has coauthored 20-plus publications and 10-plus patents pertaining to the design and synthesis of lead candidate compounds for genetic disorders, oncology and infectious diseases. Among the asset management students is a treasurer for a large city in Florida, overseeing its cash, investment, debt and pension portfolio. Within the sustainability area of focus is a student who oversees energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across a major university, and has previously helped improve fuel economy at a major automobile manufacturer and served as an energy commissioner advising local government on renewable energy policy.
