Yale SOM Case Studies Now Available for Purchase on Study.Net

Yale SOM has coordinated with Study.Net to move more than one hundred “raw” and “cooked” case studies onto the digital distributor’s online platform. The platform, an online distribution site used by educators to assemble, manage, and deliver course content and make that content accessible to students, provides seamless integration with Yale SOM’s unique, web-based “raw” cases. To date, more than 10,000 educators and 1 million students from top Business Schools have used Study.Net’s platform.

The new partnership dovetails with Yale SOM’s current distribution agreement with SAGE Publications, a provider of business cases tailored to the needs of libraries. In contrast to SAGE, Study.Net provides access to individual course material at a per-material cost as determined by the copyright holder. Faculty and students associated with the Global Network for Advanced Management may access Yale case studies for free through Study.Net. For all others, Study.Net makes Yale SOM case studies available for purchase for a nominal fee.

Cases that have been moved onto the Study.Net platform are indicated as such on their case listing page in the Yale SOM Case Directory. New cases are added to the platform on a quarterly basis. For global partners interested in teaching the recently unveiled IBM CSC case study, which was presented at the Global Network for Advanced Management’s 5th Anniversary meeting and used by the Aspen Institute’s 2017 Business and Society Case Competition, the case will be made available on the Study.Net platform within the next month.
