The Yale SOM Admissions Team will host our annual Welcome Weekend on April 18-20. That weekend will give over 100 admitted students and their families the opportunity to find out first hand what Yale SOM has to offer, with activities ranging from class visits, a Career Development Panel, to our famous New Haven pizza.
The application process to become an Admissions Interviewer will begin soon. There are also other volunteer opportunities, including Information Session Leaders and Class Visit Hosts.
The new Coordinators of the Professional Student Interest Groups (P-SIG) will present their benchmarking and strategic plans for the coming year on Friday, April 12 in room A-60.

This competition is sponsored by DECD and supported by CVG. The final round was held on April 4, 2002. There are $50,000 in cash awards.

Two SOM teams from the Entrepreneurial Business Plan class made it into the finals of a national business plan competition run by Carrot Capital, a NYC based VC.

New Haven, CT, April 3, 2002 -- The Yale School of Management is opening a new research and teaching center to study Corporate Governance worldwide and the relationship between legal regulatory frameworks and the global economy. The Yale School of Management International Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) was inaugurated by World Bank President Jim Wolfensohn in a ceremony today on the business school campus. Mr. Wolfensohn also was awarded the annual Yale School of Management International Center for Finance award for his contributions to business and society.
