Concerned about making the most of your upcoming summer marketing internship? Tom Hafen, head of marketing for Nestle Waters’ National Growth Brand division will visit Evans Hall to discuss the secrets of successfully navigating your internship and first year on the job. Tom’s presentation will be bolstered by lessons from selected second-year SOM students who have completed an internship.

This event is free and open to all SOM students. Lunch will be provided; please register in advance.

Tom Hafen is currently Head of Marketing on National Growth Brands at Nestle Waters USA in Stamford, CT.   He is also a Professor of Marketing at Columbia Business School.  Tom's past roles include leading marketing for the Nestle Infant...

Tom Hafen is currently Head of Marketing on National Growth Brands at Nestle Waters USA in Stamford, CT.   He is also a Professor of Marketing at Columbia Business School.  Tom's past roles include leading marketing for the Nestle Infant Formula Business, managing the Iams pet care brand at Procter and Gamble, and leading US marketing for tablets and phones at Microsoft.  He also helped lead the Winnie the Pooh brand at the Walt Disney Corporation.  Tom has a joint MBA/Ph.D from the University of Chicago.
