We encourage Yale SOM Alumni in the New York area to attend Board Match New York organized by The Board Match. Board Match is a networking event providing nonprofit organizations an opportunity to meet with highly qualified board candidates from major employers, across industries including financial services, legal, health care, real estate, marketing/public relations, technology and more.

Since 2005, Board Match has introduced more than 8,500 prospective board candidates to 700 nonprofits. As Board Match launches events in cities across the country we’ll reach 16,000 people annually and place 2,500 new board members on over 1,000 nonprofit boards.

It can be difficult to find the right nonprofit for board service -- with so many great organizations out there, but not enough time to vet them all. Board Match has made it simple: 100 nonprofits in 1 place, at 1 time, for 1 purpose... to meet you.

Nonprofits count on volunteers like you to lead them to success. Board Match New York is the inaugural board match event on the east coast. It's speed dating for nonprofits to meet new board members.
