Chili Cookoff at Yale SOM

Students gathered Sunday for the second annual SOM Chili Cookoff.

Sixteen first- and second- year aspiring cooks competed in the event, which is sponsored by the Yale SOM Food and Wine club.  All those attending were able to vote for their favorite in three categories: meat, vegetarian, and overall.

After all the votes were tallied, Sam Sturm '14 took home best meat chili, Michael Malmberg '14 took home best vegetarian chili, and Ellie Quartel '14 won for best overall. Ellie will have her name engraved on the SOM Chili plaque as part of the prize.
